4 of our SDC Golf AASE students got themselves to the top of final finals in the Downland League and Dockerills league.
Mark Taylor and Alex Piper won their region in the Downland League playing for the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club Juniors.
Alex Anderson and Danny Burchell also won their region in the Dockerills League playing for Hassocks Golf Club Juniors.
Both teams met at the finals which were played at Five Lakes Golf Club in Essex. Both teams did well with Mark and Alex.P finishing 4th overall, narrowly missing out on a chance to compete in Spain. Mark Taylor also came 2nd overall in the Net competition. Alex and Danny came 10th overall. Well done boys! Great to have two teams in the 1o ten in the country!
